What began as a small gathering of pilots in 2001 has grown into a full calendar of annual events that draw visitors from across the region. June 6–7, 2026 — Warren Community College, Washington, NJ A colorful kickoff to summer featuring hot air balloon launches, arts & crafts vendors, food, music, and family activities. Highlights include:

🚜 Warren County Farmers’ Fair & Hot Air Balloon Festival
July 25 – August 1, 2026 — Harmony, NJ The original Warren County balloon event, held at the county fairgrounds. Expect classic fair fun—rides, food, animals—paired with evening balloon ascensions.

September 19–20, 2026 — Warren Community College A late‑summer celebration with games, vendors, and balloon launches. Includes the return of the Hot Rides & Hot Air Balloon Car & Truck Show.
🚀 A Growing Aviation Tradition
When the 2020 Farmers’ Fair was canceled, Warren Community College hosted a smaller balloon event—complete with drone demonstrations showcasing the college’s expanding UAV program. The success of that event sparked new traditions, including Area 57, a festival celebrating aviation, drones, and STEM innovation.
In 2022, the Flying Festivals of Warren County nonprofit was formed to support these events and raise funds for local charities and the college’s Unmanned Systems program.
